Since 1964 the King Street site has been one of the main strengths of the Africa Centre, providing an unrivalled ‘shop window’ for Africa in central London. The expanded centre will use the listed Georgian house, the famous Victorian auction hall and new spaces in a loose fit way to allow an energetic and highly diverse programme of cross funded cultural and business activities.
