First prize in an international design competition to provide appropriate development within a redundant railway cutting in East Grinstead, in order to fund part of the national cycle network. We proposed a new type of hotel with spaces to rent for working, as well as sleeping. Its external appearance was a collaboration with artist Nayan Kulkarni, and featured a facade which changed with the seasons as green internal and external curtains, blinds and sunshades protected the interior from summer sun.
